Hollywood’s Hypocrisy Exposed: Silence on Iran’s Brutal Massacre at the 2026 Grammys

As I watched the Grammy Awards unfold on February 1, 2026, one thing became painfully clear: Hollywood has completely lost its credibility. Not a single word was uttered about the horrific massacre in Iran, where the regime slaughtered tens of thousands in just two nights. According to reports from opposition outlets and international media, over 30,000 people—possibly as high as 36,500—were killed by Iranian security forces during a brutal crackdown on protests on January 8-9, 2026.  This equates to roughly 625 people per hour over 48 hours—or 10 lives extinguished every single minute. Women, the elderly, children, and even the wounded in hospital beds were not spared. This is the work of a psychopathic regime that demands the world’s attention and must be dismantled.

Why the deafening silence from the stars and influencers at the Grammys? It’s simple: this isn’t “their” cause. It doesn’t fit the narrative of social justice warriors with their blue hair and multi-gender stories. This is real human rights abuse on a scale we only see in genuine genocides. Yet, while the red carpet glittered with virtue-signaling, not one celebrity mentioned the bloodbath in Iran.  Human Rights Watch and other organizations have documented mass killings across the country, with evidence of protesters shot in the head and torso, and the government’s internet shutdown hiding the full extent of the atrocities.

Contrast this with the accusations hurled at Israel. Over more than two years of conflict with Hamas in Gaza, Israel has been responsible for around 70,000 deaths, with estimates suggesting about 50% were terrorists or combatants. This is nothing—absolutely nothing—compared to the Iranian regime’s random, barbaric killings of hundreds per hour. The IDF operates under strict rules of engagement, targeting military and terrorist infrastructure, with unfortunate civilian casualties often resulting from Hamas’s tactic of using human shields. Yet, Hollywood and much of the world obsess over labeling Israel’s defensive actions as “genocide,” while turning a blind eye to the true horrors in Iran.

Who decided the Iranian people aren’t worth your attention? Why the selective outrage? Who told you to stay silent on this while amplifying baseless claims against the Jews and Israel? Is it the influence of anti-Western campaigns funded by the Muslim Brotherhood, Qatar, China, or communists? Whatever the source, your hypocrisy is laid bare.

The world deserves better. The Iranian people fighting for freedom deserve your voice. It’s time to wake up and stand against real evil, not just the trendy kind.
